Wild Hog BBQ

From the kitchen of Dale Deibler

Ingredients:

1 lg Fresh Pork Ham

1 Original Stubbs BBQ Sauce

1 Hot Stubbs BBBQ Sauce

4 cups Water

2 lg Onions, Chopped

 

 

 

Procedure:

Place ham on outdoor grill and cook over medium 2-1/2 hours. Remove ham and place on large cutting board. Remove meat in slices from ham and return to grill to brown. (Free of any pink). After browning, remove ham to cutting board and cut into small pieces.

Using a large, preheated crockpot, place 1 jar of Stubbs BBQ sauce and 2 cups water. Add onions. Place pieces of pork in crockpot with sauce and water. Now pour remaining BBQ sauce and water over meat and cook on high for @ 5 hours. Periodic stirring required. When done, pork should be soft and shredded.

Serving Suggestions:

Serve on fresh buns as a sandwich or on plate with baked beans and cornbread.
