Katmai Lodge, Alaska

Join the Deibler Outdoors Television Team for an exciting Alaskan fishing adventure. Join us, as we travel to the Alagnak River in the Bristol Bay watershed to fish for 9 species of fish. This includes all 5 species of salmon, as well as, trophy Rainbow Trout, Grayling, Dolly Varden, and Arctic Char. The Alagnak River is within Alaska"s only designated trophy fishing area and an official Wild and Scenic River. 18 jet boats are used to travel up and down the 70 miles of shallow wadeable river. The Alagnak averages between 3 and 8 feet deep.  A De Havilland Otter floatplane is used for flyouts to many remote area streams.

King Salmon can be caught to 70 pounds. Trophy Rainbow Trout to 20 lbs using fly fishing equipment. All Rainbow Trout and Grayling must be released which insures this fine fishery for years to come. Guests can keep 5 salmon a day to bring home if they wish. The lodge will prepare and vacuum seal the fish for your return. The Midnight sun will allow fishing until after midnight if you so desire. World class chefs prepare hearty meals served buffet style. Meals include Prime Rib, Salmon, Seafood, etc. Shore lunches are also prepared daily. The Alagnak River and adjacent Katmai National Park are one of the last remaining unspoiled places on earth to visit. A flyout to Brooks Falls to see the Brown Bears feasting on salmon is a must 20 minute flight.

If your ready to mouse for trophy trout, skim a pink poly-wog for Silvers, or match the hatch for grayling, give Steve a call. Did I mention the 70 lb King Salmon. I guess I'll bring a 10 weight!
