Fish for the famed North Pacific halibut with professional charter captains who are life-long Alaskans. Two halibut per person per day limit. Keep no "chickens" because these fish weigh from 50 to 300 pounds. Realistic chance at halibut between 100-200 pounds. We use charter captains out of Seward, Juneau and Prince of Wales Island and I've fished with them all. Also, catch lingcod, rockfish, king salmon, silver salmon and sharks. You will have plenty of halibut and salmon fillets to bring home. Season runs June through September. Cost varies from $300.00 to $500.00/person/day depending on charter captain and area. Incredible whale watching also. Can be combined with a bear hunt or family cruise.
